changing research question

My original question  was ‘how far are  we able to see into inner space’. The problem with that question was there wasn’t enough websites and books on inner space. After searching through the internet for a few weeks I realized that most of the websites were about mostly outer space, as to we don’t have much research into inner space. I have decided to make my research question about outer space instead so I can still keep some of my research, and still sort of be on topic. My research question: where does inner space and outer space start? Its still talks about inner space I just widen the topic so I could actually find stuff on my topic.

My research question: Where does inner space and outer space begin?

http://esciencenews.com/articles/2012/05/01/scientists.make.stunning.inner.space.observations
My first resource is an article from the University of Leicester. They talk about the new research that is being done with high-powered  microscopes. With the help of these we are now able to look at the architecture within a cell. They identified for the first time how the architecture changes during the formation of gametes, also known as sex cells, in order to successfully complete the process. They were also taking a closer look at yeast cells. They are, for the first time able to ‘visualise’ the architecture of the microtubules in the yeast cell undergoing gamete formation.

This connects to my topic because it talks about inner space and how far we can see into it. This made me think further into my topic because I thought about how we are looking further into things, but never finding an end.

In the model, microtubules are green. A structure called the spindle pole bodies (SPBs) are modeled in blue. The nuclear envelope is shown in magenta. In the wild-type cells, numbers of microtubules are emanating from the area just above the SPB. We refer this area as the radial microtubule organizing center (rMTOC).                            In the model, microtubules are green. A structure called the spindle pole bodies (SPBs) are modeled in blue. The nuclear envelope is shown in magenta. In the cell without Hrs1/Mcp6 protein, the whole rMTOC structure is missing.

These images just prove that everything just keeps getting smaller and smaller if we are able to take a tiny cell and keep going deeper inside of it. I think great new upgrades on microscopes are being made and will continue to be made. We will be able to look into a whole new world soon and make new discoveries on inner space.

Second Resource

Where does outer space begin?

http://www.nbcnews.com/id/5287945/

My second resource is an article from NBCNEWS.com. In this article it doesn’t speak of inner space, but more about outer space. However it does still help me think on the topic of inner space, and no I’m not speaking of the movie.

This article speaks about EXACTLY WHERE space begin. One of the ideas about where they think space begins is where you are no longer able to breath air, or 13 million miles above earth, or even 100 kilometers above you. We could put a name on exactly where outer space begins, if we wanted to, but I think that it doesn’t start above earth. To me I think we are all I’m space right now. I think this because of inner space. To something in a atom(if there are in fact living things in something smaller than an atom) we are their outer space. Just like to us outer space is our, well, outer space.

To be honest I don’t know where inner space beings, and maybe there is no beginning, just like there is no end to outer space. We may never know where inner space/ outer space begins if it even has one. We may never know where/ if it ends. But we can always try to get our minds around the fact that they don’t end. I don’t believe that they do. People say that things must always end, but I know better.

The article may  not have a whole lot with giving me facts about inner space and what is really is, but it really made me think about the connection of inner/ outer space. We do want to explore space, but I don’t know if we  need to put a name on where it starts because we might be in it right now, still able to breath, and on the ground. Space is above, below, and around us. Or at least in my opinion.

My Current Interest

Does inner-space ever stop?

Inner-space is the space inside something. It is consisted of atoms and molecules. I know that an everyday object such as a pencil, even the tip of the led is consisted of millions and millions of atoms. There are some hypothesis that we are a product of inner-space and may be actually inside something! We may be part of the tip of a pencil, and there may be living organisms in our objects too.

When you think about it, inner-space is connected to outer-space. We start with universe and it gets smaller and smaller. Just like a tip of a pencil, what it consist of gets smaller and smaller.

I would like to know if people believe inner-space ever stops? Does inner-space just keep going on forever? I would like to know more about inner-space and what other people know about it. what are other people theories?
